Mayor Wayne Labbe
Mayor Wayne Labbe has been a dedicated public servant for the city of Valley Grande. He first served as mayor from 2012-2016, during which time he played a pivotal role in getting the city out of debt by 2015 through fiscally responsible policies. After working for 42 years at the local Bush Hog manufacturing plant, Labbe decided to run for mayor again in 2020 and was re-elected by the citizens. With his extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, Mayor Labbe has ambitious plans to further improve Valley Grande and make it an even better place to live. Some of his key initiatives include attracting new businesses, revitalizing downtown, and expanding recreational opportunities for families. Mayor Labbe’s dedication to his town along with his proven track record of effective leadership bodes well for the future growth and prosperity of Valley Grande.
