Mayor John Hatfield
Mayor John Hatfield has been a dedicated public servant for Dallas County and the surrounding areas for 28 years. He first served on patrol from 1998-2007, after which time he played a pivotal role in criminal investigations from 2007-2018 and from that time until present he serves as Chief Deputy for the Dallas Co Sheriff’s Dept. John Hatfield decided to run for mayor in 2025 and was elected by the citizens. With his extensive experience in the public sectors, Mayor Hatfield has ambitious plans to further improve Valley Grande and make it an even better place to live. Some of his key initiatives include attracting new businesses, revitalizing the city, and expanding recreational opportunities for families. Mayor Hatfield’s dedication to his town along with his proven track record of effective leadership bodies well for the future growth and prosperity of Valley Grande.
